Oswestry, Shropshire's historic border market town, provides MOT services across SY10 and SY11 postcode areas just five miles from Wales. Old Oswestry Hillfort, one of Britain's finest Iron Age sites, overlooks the town where markets have traded since 1190. Motorists from Gobowen, St Martins, Whittington, and surrounding villages rely on local MOT centres navigating the Anglo-Welsh borderlands. The town's position on the A5 and A483, serving both English and Welsh communities, makes vehicle testing essential. Wilfred Owen's birthplace combines heritage charm with modern amenities, supporting residents and visitors exploring Offa's Dyke country.
